| I have an account with the username moonphase and want to have four e-mail addresses for Tom, Dick, Harry and one for Bob. I decide I want them all to have individual POP3 mailboxes and for all the rest of the e-mail to go to the default mailbox.
| This will give them email addresses of:
| tom@moonphase.plus.com
| dick@moonphase.plus.com
| harry@moonphase.plus.com
| bob@moonphase.plus.com
| mail@moonphase.plus.com
| 1) to organise this I go to the Plus.Net Site and set up the four mailboxes with the aliases of tom, dick, harry and bob and the passwords pass1, pass2, pass3and pass4 respectively.
| 2) I configure my e-mail program, following the instructions in the Multiple Mailbox support page.
| 3) Having waited 24 hours to be sure all the servers have updated, I use the following POP3 logon* and password combinations to collect my e-mail:-
Tom's e-mail - POP3 logon - moonphase+tom POP3 password - pass1
Dick's e-mail - POP3 logon - moonphase+dick POP3 password - pass2
Harry's e-mail - POP3 logon - moonphase+harry POP3 password - pass3
Bob's e-mail - POP3 logon - moonphase+bob POP3 password - pass4
Any other e-mail - POP3 logon - moonphase POP3 password - password
| Easy, isn't it!
